Notice: Minnesota Statutes 148B has sections applying to the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, the Board of Social Work, and the Office of Mental Health Practice within the Minnesota Department of Health.  Sections MS 148B.01 - 148B.175 and 148B.29 - 148B.39 apply to the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.

*  Effective July 1, 2001, fees listed in MS 5300-0360 are obsolete.  The following is a list of current fees:

               A.    Application for national examination:  $220.00

               B.    Examination Fee:  $220.00 - This fee is paid directly to Professional Examination    

                       Services (PES) after being approved by the Board to take the national examination.

                C.   Application for Licensure Fee (oral examination):  $110.00

                D.   Initial License Fee:  Prorated, not to exceed $125.00

                E.    Application for licensure through reciprocity:  $340.00

                F.    Annual renewal of LMFT license fee:  $125.00

                G.   Late renewal fee:  $50.00

                H    Reinstatement of license fee:  $150.00

                I.    Sponsor application for approval of a continuing education course: $60.00

                J.    - License Verification Fee:  $10.00 per verification

                J.    Penalty fee: $75.00

                K.   Duplicate license fee:  $25.00
